Discount Battery is an environmentally conscious company that has been recycling old lead acid batteries for over 30 years. Whenever you buy a battery we require your core as a part of the transaction to ensure it does not end up in a landfill. We also buy any old lead acid batteries you may have. Batteries are 100% recyclable. They are sent out to licensed E.P.A compliant smelting companies where the acid, lead, and plastic are separated. The separated parts are then cleaned and the components are used to make new batteries.
